Take a trip to Scott Springs Park this fall to check out a neat and fun Ocala bike pump track! You will find this park in the outskirts of Ocala, fairly close to 75. This makes for a nice stop if you are traveling somewhere else, or if Ocala is your destination! In addition, this park is completely free!
At the park, there are a variety of activities to choose from. In the center you will find a large and unique playground for kids, with a sort of treehouse-like structure in the middle. Be warned, it is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the playground. An approximately 3/4 of a mile long paved path winds around the playground area, great for biking, walking, or using a scooter. The park also has a neat little boardwalk that leads to a grotto with a cave. You can view the cave, but there is no swimming in the water surrounding it.
The bike park is tucked away in the woods a little bit. It is close to the boardwalk to the cave. This park contains mostly small obstacles, so great for kids to try for their first time or adults who are beginner mountain bikers. View our video below for a quick tour of the park:
